Comprehensive Quality Assurance Testing

To guarantee the quality of the packaging, we carry out tests to ensure all of our packaging can protect the content perfectly. Our test instruments are used to carry out various types of quality tests, such as plastic durability, heat deformation, plastic elasticity and strength, solvent residue quantity, color uniformity, and others.

All of our lab technicians are experienced in their field, capable of performing and providing accurate test data. All of our quality testing processes are carried out directly in the laboratory facility of PT Suryakemasindo Sejati to determine if the packaging meets our client’s specifications and manufacturing standards.

Oven

In this process, we test the product’s durability and deformation when subjected to high temperatures. Some of the types of tests we perform are: heat deformation, compression set, heat resistance and others.

It is very important to know the strength of plastic material resistance to dry heat which increases with time. This helps in ensuring the behavior of plastics exposed to increased temperatures.


Gas Chromatography

Gas chromatography is used to analyze residual solvents in printing or adhesive coatings.

This is done to determine if the solvent residue is too high and poses a risk of unwanted odors or poor lamination adhesion. In this process, we also test the quality and purity of the solvent.

We measure this several times in the production stage to prevent unwanted odors and poor lamination from occurring.


Heat Gradient Seal Test

This process is carried out to determine the best parameters for heat sealability of various types of plastic films. Proper management of the heat sealing process enables our clients to strike a balance between product integrity and productivity in the packaging process.

To continuously maintain seal quality, all of our packaging is manufactured to deliver a consistently strong seal and reduce the risk of packaging failure.


Tensile / Bonding Strength Tester

A bond strength tester is used to determine how much force is required to separate the laminated materials. Tensile test machines are used to measure how much plastic packaging can be stretched before breaking.

For some industries, the characteristics of plastic packaging such as the strength and elasticity of the plastic are very important for packaging that must withstand various types of potential damage, such as mishandling and pet bites.

It is important to understand these properties for certain industries where the strength and elasticity of plastics are critical.


Color Spectrum Test

We understand the client’s need for accurate and consistent color, that’s why we always do color checks using the eXact Spectrophotometer, which is a standard equipment for the printing industry. In this process, we validate CMYK ink colors as well as spot colors, measure ink density and verify color accuracy in each of our printing processes.

All of our printing products can meet industry printing standards, such as: G7, ISO, PSO, and Japan Color.
